The day started with the committee arriving early to set up & put out the hundreds of trophies to be awarded.
Then, at 4:30 the younger age groups event started with Chairman Toby giving his speech & then the U6 got their moment. We all loved to see those little faces & we remembered how our players were at that age. These teeny footballers are the future of our club & we welcome them with open arms.
Followed by U7, U8 & U10
And then the award for most improved player in the club
After a yummy sausage & chips, the kids all played outside before coming in & demolishing the sweet stall to the point where it was sold out. Leaving none for the older kids later!
We then grabbed this snap of all our mini soccer players!
We then cleared up & reset for the next step, the older teams. Starting with the U11
and then onto the U12, U13, U15 & the final event for our longest serving players, U16
and then a few special club awards - Manager of the year (Danny U12)
and finally the winners of our esteemed Alf Harrod Award
Just time for the raffle & a snap of the older club players together before heading home to bed!
